Another busy week as we all met together as a class! It has been a week of making new friends and learning how to share and work together. This week we introduced our first two Golden rules: We are gentle and we try hard. Next week you will be receiving a book home with your child so that you can talk about the golden rules together.
We are working really hard to remember our please and thank you when having snack time and learning to sit together at the table and enjoy chatting together.
Lots of stickers have been given out as we have been watching out for good tidying up after play time. The children all know our tidy up song and maybe this might be helpful to use to encourage tidying up at home.
A lot of the children are very tired at this stage as it is a busy day and can I encourage you to try and establish a regular bedtime for your child. They have a lot to take in and remember in these early days of nursery and this can be demanding for them,so it is important that they have lots of down time too.
Don’t forget we are off on Monday for the bank holiday and on Tuesday morning we are having the film crew from EA in school, so perhaps you could chat to your child in preparation for this.
