This week we have been doing some bird watching. We made binoculars to watch the birds outside and we made some bird food to feed the birds in our playground.
We have moved onto the topic of people who help us. We have had the fire engines out in the classroom and some of the children have been dressing up and taking on the role of the firefighters.
Some of the children have been acting out as police officers outside making sure everyone is driving safely and following the rules.
This morning we started “scissor club” to help develop the children’s scissor skills. If you have children’s scissors at home, encourage them to practice cutting out old card, newspapers, magazines etc.
