We have had so much going on in school this week with our caterpillar’s arriving, eggs going into our chick incubator and a new puppy in school.
We are watching and waiting as we learn about the lifecycle of both butterflies and chicks and hopefully in a few weeks time we will be able to say hello to both.
The children are working hard on their pattern making through art activities and it would be of great benefit to them if you could keep this going at home.
Next week it is all about letters and numbers and our focus will be giving them as much exposure to these through play to allow opportunities to mark make, count and begin to recognise some letters and numbers.
Next Friday we will be having a travelling theatre company in school which will be another great experience for the children and don’t forget that our mile a day challenge begins on Monday. We would welcome some extra adult help each day as we walk and encourage any parents/ grandparents/ carers to come along and walk with your child. Please let us know any morning if you plan to join us at 1pm.
