It was lovely to see so many of you in school last Friday at the fun night. I know the children really enjoyed showing you their school and what they have been doing.
This week we have started looking at and thinking about the changes which are happening all around us outdoors. The children are really enjoying exploring colours and learning how to mix different colours using paint. They have been printing leaves using a variety of materials and media. We have also started our Autumn songs and rhymes. Ask your child about the little hedgehog!!
Goldilocks and the three bears is a story we are focusing on so you will start to hear the Goldilocks Rap being sung. This helps the children learn how to keep a steady beat.Through this topic we look at different sizes talking about small, middle sized and big.
We are continuing to to look for and recognise things that are the same. Matching objects, shapes, colours and even socks ( a great activity for you to do at home)
