Autumn leaves are falling down!
This week we have launched into lots of learning around Autumn. We have been using language such as ‘nocturnal’ and ‘ hibernate’ and learning facts about owls and hedgehogs.
We enjoyed acting out the story of the enormous turnip.
There have been lots of lovely opportunities to make and create and the children have been enjoying taking on roles in our fruit and veg shop.
Dont forget to return your child’s Autumn bag on Monday so that we can explore these together.
I have enclosed copies of some of the autumn songs we are learning.
Next week is a very busy one in school! On Tuesday, Debbie Doolittle will be visiting with some of her animals( don’t forget to send in some pet food to donate to her charity). On Thursday we are travelling to Castlecoole for our Autumn walk and then on Friday we will be having our Autumn sensory day where children can come to school dressed in Autumn colours.
Dont forget we are looking for clear 500ml bottles for a craft activity.
Have a great weekend!
