We have had a lovely week in school and the children have settled well into the routine of the full day. I’m sure you have found that they are tired as learning the new timetable with longer time spent in school can be exhausting. I must say they are coping very well with everything.
This week the focus in art and craft has been on learning to make a print with a variety of different materials and shapes. The children especially enjoyed using their hands today. Ask your child what we turned their handprints into ( the colour is a clue)
We are all trying to sit with “crisscross apple sauce” legs when on th carpet which means crossing our legs. Some of the children can already do it and others are still practicing. This is something you can help with at home.
We are continuing to encourage the children to explore and experience all the different areas of nursery school and they are enjoying new activities every day.
