Busy,busy,busy!!
Such an exciting and busy week we have had in school. I’m sure the children have told you all about our visit from Debbie Doolittle and her special animals. If they can’t remember the names we had Poppy the ferret, Hobnob the rabbit, Holly the hedgehog (Who is blind), Nikita an eagle owl and bear the fox. Some of the children were very brave and stroked the animals (even the hedgehog).
Our walk in Castlecoole was a great success despite the weather. We had good fun shouting from Echo hill (the children can show you where it is) and spent time climbing the big tree and playing in the stick house. There were also a few musicians using the drum kit.
Today was Autumn sensory day and everyone was very busy using their hands and feet as well as eyes, nose and mouth to explore the activities. I hope you enjoy looking at the photographs with your child and learning about everything we smelt, felt and tasted.
Enjoy the Halloween holiday next week.
