We have started our preparations for Easter and the children are getting busy painting and decorating eggs. We have been looking at the different patterns on Easter eggs and making up our own. The children have all enjoyed decorating the classroom for Easter and putting up the Easter tree.
Our new songs and rhymes are about Easter and animals associated with this time of year. Everyone loves the “ Little chicken “ rhyme especially when we draw chicks on our thumbs and we are practicing the “ Easter bunny rabbit “song for going on our trip. As you can see we are practicing our cutting skills please help with this at home.
Melanie from Urban dance was back again and I’m sure you will agree that the children all looked really cool in their sunglasses. They are learning more hip hop dance moves and improving every week.
We are looking forward to going on our Easter trip to Castlecoole on the bus next week. Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather on Wednesday. The children have been practising hunting for eggs in school and are hoping to find some on our trip.
School finishes for the Easter holidays on Wednesday 27th March and reopens on Monday 8th April.
