This week the children have been learning about the Easter Story.
At our art table we have been doing lots of Easter printing, cutting and sticking, and the children have enjoyed making their own creations with junk art.
The children have been planting sunflower seeds and we have talked about how we look after them and how they grow.
We have been practising our number recognition by matching numbers and small eggs. This learning can be reinforced at home by pointing out numbers when out and about, and around the home.
Next week we are in school Monday and Tuesday. On Tuesday the children will be going on the bus to Castlecoole ~ I wonder will we spot the Easter bunny!! ?
