Exploring the season
20th Oct 2023
October is going quickly and the children have been learning more about Autumn and how nature changes our world with the seasons. We look forward to exploring the bags of Natures treasure with the different colours, textures and smells when your children bring them back into school.
We have had fun with art and craft this week making clay hedgehogs, printing with real leaves and rolling conkers in paint.
Outside we are looking after the playground by brushing up the fallen leaves. We also had lots of fun making bubbles using washing up liquid on the wet ground.
Today the children were very busy planting daffodil bulbs to take home and look after. Some of the pots are quite small and will need replanted in bigger pots or in your garden. Ask your child what they need to do to help the flower grow. Please water the bulb when it is home as we didn’t want to wet them before they left school.
