This week we have been doing some bird watching. We made binoculars to spot birds outside and made some bird food to feed the birds in our playground.
We have started a new topic ‘ People who help us’. We have set up a hospital and the children have been dressing up and role playing doctors, nurses, patients and ambulance crew. We have been looking at X-rays and talking about our bodies. This month we focus on being healthy, doing exercise, eating healthy foods and doing some mindfulness. We are doing lots of stamina building exercises in preparation for our healthy heart day next Friday.
At home you could look out for birds in your garden. Encourage your child to count how many they can see, we are working on touch counting to 10.
