We have had a very busy time in school this week and the children have been learning a lot of new things. We are really enjoying getting to know all the children. And they have settled well into the school routines.
They have had great fun exploring the Red, Green and Blue outdoor play zones which each offer something different to learning outdoor. Everyone has now drawn, painted or printed a “first picture” and as you will see we have some budding artists. Lots of sandcastles have been built and some block towers are as tall as the builders.
Today was the first time we all had snack and it was very popular. The children are learning to all sit able together and finish eating before we tidy up, putting rubbish and plates/cups in the correct containers.
Next week will be different timings as these two groups of children join together all coming from 12.30-2.00pm. This is a big change for them, some may find it difficult and be unsettled but we will work with them through it.
Please remember not to send any school bags in as they are not needed and can get mixed up when all the children are in together now.
