We had a very exciting time on our trip to Forthill Park Forest School this week. Brian showed us how to attach bamboo canes and tarpolines together. Then in groups we went off to make our own dens.
After a quick snack we all sat down in a semi-circle and Brian showed us his Kelly Kettle. He explained how it was used to boil water. Ask your child if they can tell you why it has a hole in the middle?
Brian made us all hot orange which the children really enjoyed.
