This week we have been spending lots of time playing outdoors in the beautiful sunshine.
We finished our “Mile a day in May” with a walk to the Ardhowen where we played on the grass area, had an outdoor story and enjoyed an ice lolly to cool us down. Thank you to all parents and grandparents who have accompanied us on the walks and also thank you for all your generous donations.
Our caterpillars turned into 4 beautiful butterflies and the children enjoyed releasing them into our garden.
We have started our new topic of summer and jungle animals and this will continue for the rest of this month.
Its looking like our lovely weather is going to continue next week so please ensure your child has suncream on them when coming into school.
