This week we have been enjoying the beautiful sunshine and spending lots of time outdoors. We have been ‘painting’ the fences with water and watched it dry. We have been enjoying our snack outdoors, paddling in the pool and even had ice cream as a treat to cool down.
Our new topic for June is Nursery Rhymes. We were printing stars and singing Twinkle Twinkle. On Wednesday 14th we will have a Nursery Rhyme day where we invite the children to dress up as their favourite nursery rhyme character. Please do not spend any money on costumes, home made are the most fun!
The children will be off school on Thursday 15th June as we are having our induction day for the new children coming next year. Returning children do not need to come to this day, they will be going over to Mrs Phair’s classroom during their normal school day.
As this lovely weather is forecast to continue into next week please remember to apply sunscreen to your child before they come to school.
