On Monday Victoria brought an Easter wreath that she made with mummy and it inspired us to create our own! Didn’t they do well?
We have been designing our own dressing up costumes to use in the classroom.
We made cloud dough this week and the children enjoyed exploring the textures and smells. We made sandwiches for snack… maybe something you could practise at home with your child?
We are practising our climbing and balancing on our new play equipment and challenging the children to take managed risks.
In the classroom we are focusing on developing our pencil and scissor grip and the children are all working very hard with this.
We have added a new, more complex construction kit into the classroom play and the children have worked very hard together to follow instructions and build detailed structures. This helps their visual perception as well as that all important idea of ‘ team work makes the dream work!’
we are learning lots of Easter songs so why not ask the children to perform them for you and we will post some videos of them next week.
