This week has been jampacked full of lovely experiences for our children around our theme of autumn. The children have enjoyed learning about oils, hedgehogs and other autumn creatures, and this was complimented by a fantastic visit from Debbie Dolittle on Tuesday. Thursday brought our first outing out of school on the bus to Castle Court. We had a fantastic day and the rain didn’t dampen our spirits as we explored the forest, climb the trees and collected lots of autumn leaves.
The week was completed with our autumn sensory day today, the children were able to explore all their senses through the activities, and were very brave exploring some strange sensations with their hands and feet! Their toes may need an extra wash this evening!!
The children are all ready for a well earned half term break, so we hope that you have a lovely restful week off with your children and we look forward to seeing you again on Monday, the 6th of November.
