A short week this week but filled with lots of great learning. We have been talking together about all the things that mums do to help us and we hope you enjoy a celebration of all that you are to your little ones on Sunday.
We are really enjoying cooking and baking activities at the moment and the children loved making French toast on Tuesday.
We continued our focus on pattern making using natural materials and pasta.
On Wednesday we had a think about what we might have for a ‘green’ snack to celebrate St Patrick’s Day and Mrs Phair took a group of children to Tesco to find these items. This is something we will continue over the next few months.
Thursday was all about St Patrick and we enjoyed learning a little about the history of St Patrick as well as doing a few Irish jigs and joining in St Patrick themed songs. There was even an appearance by a leprechaun!
In the spirit of all things Irish we planted our seed potatoes today and each child was given a shamrock to take home.
