This week we have been focusing on trying to copy and write our names independently. Try to encourage your child to use a tripod grip when holding a pencil for greater control. We had lots of fun today celebrating st Patrick’s day. We had green slime, green dough and even green snack! The children enjoyed dancing to Irish music and we even had a visit from a familiar looking leprechaun!
Core NI were in on Monday continuing our sports sessions. We are using our listening skills and practicing balancing and jumping. We loved using the parachute.
It was great to have so many parents join us for our walk to school this morning.
Today we were sad to say goodbye to Mrs Doherty in the morning class. We wish her all the best and will miss her. We are delighted to welcome Mrs Whitton back in her role as nursery assistant in the morning class.
