We have been very busy in school this week focusing on ‘People who help us’. The children were excited to have the Police visit us on Tuesday to practice safe walking . This went well and we talked about how important it is to stay close to the inside of the pavement, hold a grown ups hand and always look and listen for traffic.
Yesterday we learned about the Chinese New Year and how it is celebrated. We had some tasty noodles, rice and prawn crackers for snack. This year is the year of the Dragon and we watched a traditional Dragon dance before we had a go at copying the moves ourselves.
Healthy Heart Day was great fun today. The children all looked fantastic in their red outfits and we enjoyed a healthy snack. Everyone took part in keep fit activities and dancing to make our hearts beat faster. Thank you for all your kind donations to Children’s Heartbeat Trust.
