Hello Sunshine!
Such a busy week at school! The children arrived on Tuesday to find that we had begun to turn our nursery into the land of pirates.
On Wednesday we enjoyed a visit from our friends at Holy Trinity, it was great to see the children share and make new friends, taking great pride in showing them around our school. On 22nd we will make the bus journey across to play in their school.
We have continued our walking each day and we cannot thank you enough for joining with us each day, it is a great help to us and the children get so excited to see special people there to walk with them… and it definitely helps when the sun shines on us!!
Thursday saw the last session with Melanie at Urban motion, hopefully the children have been able to show you some of their moves!
Friday was very exciting as we got our first play back in our long awaited playground! We are not there yet with soft pour and line markings still to go down and several stoned/ garden areas still to be created but it is very exciting to have got this far and the children were a great help cleaning and scrubbing to get the playground back into shape.
Remember that we are still collecting plastic bottles( 500ml/ 1l) and we would appreciate any old newspapers ( particularly those that do not have staples in them)
