What a busy week we have had in school. The children have really enjoyed exploring working with glue and scissors to make various picture collages and learn new skills. They have been cutting different materials and creating beautiful pictures.
We are continuing to look at circles and have found lots inside and outside the classroom. Perhaps you could look for some at home or when you are out and about at the weekend with your child.
Dressing up clothes were introduced in role play and the children have had great fun pretending to be Princesses, fire fighters and the police.
We started group time during our daily routine and the children have been introduced to the Golden Rules books and puppets. These will be sent home in the coming weeks for you to enjoy with your child and return to school.
Today there were lots of cooks in the classroom as we made apple crumble using the lovely red apples from our trees in school. Everyone had fun helping and enjoyed tasting it when it was cooked.
