This week we have been continuing our topic of Winter and learning more about snow, ice and how to keep warm. The children have enjoyed working with our large “ice “ blocks to build igloos and other icy constructions.
They were able to discover lumps of ice outside and watch what happened to it when it was brought indoors. We also experimented with ways to make it melt.
We made some decorations today and have left them outside as an experiment to see what happens to them over the weekend.
Our budding artists have been very busy painting beautiful snowmen and we have had a chance to explore working with temporary art materials to make our pictures.
Please remember next Friday your child can bring a special person to school for the last half hour of the session to play games. The children and visitors will leave school together when finished at the normal time.
