Another busy week in Nursery! The children enjoyed making and eating their own pancakes on Pancake Tuesday. We even got to practice flipping pancakes using a pan and beanbags.
We carried out our safe walking with the Police. All the children did very well and the Policemen gave them a “Safe Walking Certificate”. The policemen talked to the children about how they help us. We got to sit in the police car and turn on the lights and sirens.
Nurse Katie also visited the children this week to talk about her role as a nurse. She brought her stethoscope, a torch and some bandages for the children to use.
We have been continuing with our own hospital play and looking after each other, as well as looking after the animals in the outdoor vets.
Next week we hope to do some gardening. If anyone has any spare small plant pots we would appreciate them for Nursery.
