This week we have been exploring our community and talking about people who help us. On Tuesday we had a visit from the police and we showed them how we could walk safely. We got a certificate and even got to sit in the police car!
One of our mums Katie is a nurse and she came in to talk to us about helping make sick people better. The children loved using her bandages and stethoscope.
The children have been helping look after older people in our communities by drawing a special picture and posting it in our kindness box. These will be brought to a local nursing home for the residents to enjoy. The children have been talking about feeling lonely and being kind to others.
As part of our world around us topic we are planting seeds next week and would appreciate if anyone had any spare pots at home if they could bring them in for us to use.
