This week we have introduced our topic of pirates. The children are enjoying dressing up and searching for treasure. We will be continuing with this topic next week and are looking forward to our pirate party next Friday.
On Wednesday we visited our friends in Holy Trinity Nursery Unit as part of our shared education programme. We look forward to welcoming them to our school in a couple of weeks time.
The children are doing great walking their ‘Mile A Day in May’. We will be continuing this until the end of the month. Any parents who are able to join us on our walk (9.20am) can let the teacher know at the gate in the morning.
This week we have been working on our fundamental movement skills. We have been moving from 2 feet to 1 foot and back to 2 feet (like hopscotch). Some children have found this challenging. It is an easy one to practise at home or when you are out for a walk.
