We have LOVED launching into our space exploration this week. We have learnt about the sun, moon and mercury. The children have enjoyed art activities, building, imaginative play and exploring all around space so take time to talk to them about this… they may have something to teach you!
Nativity songs have started! We will post these for you as we go along so that you can be enjoying them with your child.
Your children make us smile all the time but there are times when they really do make our jobs so much fun. Today we began to introduce the Christmas story and we talked about how Mary was going to have a baby. Here are some of the responses we received…..

‘we have our baby, it’s already hatched!’

‘ I know lots of mummy’s but their babies aren’t ready yet, they will be soon’
We really do love our jobs!
Outdoors it was all about the worms that we found under the stepping stones, this has kept us fascinated for days. We have made homes for them, brought them food and put them back to go for a sleep for the weekend!
We are busy digging, pouring, lifting and carrying to develop our gross motor skills and core strength.
Dont forget next Friday ( 18th) is PJ day in school.
