We have had a lovely week in school and the children have settled well into the routine. I’m sure you have found that they are tired as their time in school gets longer,but they are coping well.
This week the focus in art and craft has been on learning to make a print with a variety of different materials and shapes. The children especially enjoyed making handprints. Ask your child what animal we turned their handprint into (the colour is a clue)
We are all trying to sit with “crisscross apple sauce legs” when on the carpet which means sitting cross legged. Some of the children can do this already and others are practicing. This is something you can help with at home.
We are continuing to encourage the children to explore and experience all the areas of nursery school and they are enjoying new activities every day.
Next week the timings will change again;
Group A & B 12.30 - 3pm every day
Group C. 12.30 - 2pm every day
