It’s been a very busy first week back to school. We have started our topic on Insects and found some hiding under the stones in the playground. The magnifiers make it easier to see them and we could even count their legs.
On Thursday we all enjoyed our trip to Forthill Park. Brian came with us and helped us to find a good place for our forest school area.
We learned the rules of a forest school so hopefully the children will be able to tell you them.
In groups we looked for different colours in nature. Then we played a game called “Birds and Worms” ask your child what they had to do. After a quick snack we made pictures of trees on our nature pages. We are all looking forward to next weeks trip and exploring our area more.
