We have had a fantastic few days getting to know your children and showing them the routines of nursery. We are delighted at how well they have settled!
We have taught them some of the rhymes and phrases we use in class including out tidy up song.
We use ‘cross cross apple sauce’ to help them remember good sitting, ‘ hands on top, everybody stop’ to help them to follow instructions and our response, ‘ Are you listening, are you listening, yes we are, yes we are ‘ to encourage good listening. Perhaps you could practice these at home with your child?
Remember that your child’s starting time might be changing next week and please keep your induction timetable safe. We thank you for your patience during the induction and assure you that it is the best way to ensure all children feel happy and secure in nursery.
